Ravshan Rakhmanov is currently a Partner at Centil Law Firm with expertise and focus on corporate matters. Prior to joining Centil, he was a Partner in Grata Law Firm. As a partner, he works with the corporate practice group, particularly with clients in the oil and gas, energy, textile and automotive industries.
Prior to joining Centil Law Firm, Ravshan worked as a paralegal in Tashkent office of one of the largest international law firm Baker & McKenzie. He has considerable experience in the corporate area and advised on numerous investment projects on corporate matters related to the oil and gas upstream and downstream operations, textile, pharmaceutical and automotive projects. In addition to advising clients in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Ravshan has also worked on projects in neighboring countries (including Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan).

EXPERIENCE
- Conducting full legal due diligence of a major oil and gas operator in Uzbekistan, with the view of acquisition by one of UK based oil and gas companies. Advising the client on various oil and gas associated regulatory matters
- Advising on corporate matters in relation to the Aral Sea PSA project in Uzbekistan. Drafting foundation documents for the establishment of an operating company and associated corporate and labour issues
- Advising a leading Malaysian oil and gas corporation on a number of corporate and employment tissues in connection with PSA for four investment blocks in Uzbekistan
- Advising Malaysian corporation on a PSA farm-out procedures and further termination of operations with respect to all corporate and employment related issues
- Advising numerous international corporations on various legal issues in the area of corporate registrations and liquidations in Uzbekistan, including global oil and gas operators in Uzbekistan
- Advising the leading US auto maker on setting up a Joint Venture Company with Uzavtosanoat on manufacturing vehicles in Uzbekistan. Advising on various legal issues related to incorporation of a Joint Venture Company and drafting Joint Venture Agreement
- Conducting full legal due diligences of a major fixed-line operator of Uzbekistan for the Consortium of a major Japanese and Korean telecommunication corporations with the view of corporate acquisition and subsequent advice and assistance in acquisition of the local operator. Drafting memos on number of telecom issues pertaining to telecom licenses and general treatment of telecom laws in Uzbekistan. Advising on frequency allocation matters and on import of telecom equipment to Uzbekistan
- Advising oldest and major German vehicle manufacturer on investment project on establishment of bus manufacturing plant in Uzbekistan
