Amazon Project Kuiper
Centil Law Firm is acting as local legal counsel for Amazon Project Kuiper’s groundbreaking low Earth orbit satellite internet deployment in Kazakhstan - the first of its kind in Central Asia.
This transformative initiative will bring high-speed connectivity to underserved regions and support Kazakhstan’s broader digital infrastructure agenda.
The project establishes a legal precedent for satellite broadband rollout in the region - addressing orbital slot coordination, liability regimes, and compliance with evolving telecom and space regulations.
Partner Ravshan Adilov led the project with support from Senior Associate Aigerim Kasmukhanova, Associates Saniya Sultanova, Kamshat Shalkarbekova, and Tunyk B. Bekbauliyeva, as well as Junior Associate Aruzhan Assilbekova, providing full-cycle legal support to align Amazon's global mission with Kazakhstan’s regulatory framework.
