IFC’s investment in a leading Uzbek bank

Centil Law Firm acted as local legal counsel to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in connection with its strategic investment in Ipoteka bank OTP Group - a successful completion of a convertible loan transaction resulting in IFC acquiring an 8.70% equity interest.

The transaction involved complex corporate, banking, and securities law and regulation matters, requiring close coordination between multiple stakeholders and regulatory authorities.  Our team worked closely with all parties involved to help navigate the challenges of the transaction and support its successful completion.
